Hello,
I was wondering what the options were if I wanted to encode small-resolution video (under 200 scanlines) using a codec that was as quick to decompress as possible.
I'll also throw in the restriction that it can't require a math co-processor in order to operate at a decent speed, so nothing DCT-based, definately no wavelets... :p
So, is Cinepak the only option, or have there been other developments?
Edit: Rule 12 observed, word "best" replaced. ;)
