Previously I inquired regarding burning Dvd's via an external drive on a USB 2.0 connection. It sounds as though this can be done, however here is my last (promise) question regarding this issue.
My machine has a FSB speed of 266mhz with a USB 1.1 motherboard. I have installed a USB 2.0 PCI card. I intend to use an existing SONY Burner and a generic External drive enclosure, and make the unit portable to a couple of different machines. I don't expect to burn at blazing speeds, in fact the Sony is capable of only 2.4.
AM I ASKING TOO MUCH???
