some frames pause in ms

why dose these frames pause for ms it's not playing smooth on the tv or the pc. can anybudy tell me why that is happening?

VirtualDub is not a player application.

@tigerman8u use virtualdub to convert and after i done converting there is some kind of pausing in the frames even when i play the video on the tv.

i need to now if ther is a filter to fix this kind of pausing? ms = mille secands

does your original file have any pause in it when you play it on your computer?
Since you're using Vdub I'm assuming the file is in avi fornat.
Use divfix (free) and see if it detects any bad frames. You can also do this with Vdub. Under the "video" tab check "scan video stream for errors".
