Okay, Using dvdDecrypter I decrypted a movie a while back onto my HDD with ifo mode[i think] so that i can convert it to avi[using autogk].

Well anyways i never really go to converting the .vobs until now so i tried using AUTOGK [latest beta] and it said something about using ifo mode which i was sure i used [not 100% sure]. Anyways My current DVD "Cheech And Chong - Up in Smoke" got scratched because i let a retarded friend borrow it.

Anyways i still have the vobs. And i used FileMerger to merge the vobs into one large vob. I later used Dr. Divx to convert the vob to divx. Well now i have this minor issue. The audio on the avi is the wrong one its the one with behind the scenes and where they explain everything thats happening.

Now the question..
How do i extract the correct audio from the vob and mux it in the avi.

Thanks for your time.

You state your original is scratched but you have it ripped to your hard drive. 1st I would burn a copy of the dvd so you have a backup. From this backup rip a copy to your hard drive selecting the correct audio.

Crap, that won't work because Using FileMerger its default option is to delete the .vob after joining it so now im left with one vob file that is 4gigs. What do i do?

Load the 4gb file in your dvd authoring program or Ifoedit (free) and make the necessary IFO and BUP file/s. Burn this to make a working dvd. Proceed as I stated above

Hi-

Assuming that both audios are still in the vobs, you can get them either from PGCDemux (you'll need the IFO), or from DGIndex (no IFO needed). Using DGIndex, open the big vob file, make sure that Audio->Output Method->Demux All Tracks is checked, and then File->Save Project.

Yea managed to demux, used winamp with the ac3 plugin to locate the correct ac3 file muxed it back into the avi converted the audio and it all workd out swell.

Thanks manano for bringing up DGIndex if it wasn't for that i don't think i would have been able to do that.
