Hi Guys,
I am new in working with dvd stuffs and I have been trying to get used to but sometimes is really difficult to understand some steps.
I got a DVD, ripped it using DVD Decrypter.
Well, what I´d like to do is to keep the original menu in order to have a link to the main movie, trailer and making off, so, I opened the VIDEO_TS.IFO using Ifoedit and cheched the files I would need to keep and then I´ve copied them to another folder.
Using Pgcedit, I disabled the actions of some menu buttons in order to prevent errors during the playback.
Now is everything working but the size is still big to fit in a 4.7GB media.
I used DVD Shrink to check the content and I realized that there are some contents that I dont need anymore, like copyright information, and other introductions..
Anyone knows how to remove those contents ?
Thanks
Christian

Hi chrispaiva and welcome to the forum!
Using IfoEdit is probably not your easiest introduction to blanking unwanted stuff. I would suggest you try vobblanker (http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/), which is free and somewhat easier to use. There are some good guides out there (check vobblanker's home page) to help you blank out stuff.
If you want to remove FBI warnings and the like and reclaim the space to get a better quality our of DVD Shrink, then vobblanker is probably your best solution. Otherwise, you can use PgcEdit to skip the warnings (but usually not reclaim the space...
Another solution is to tell DVD Shrink to replace these warnings with still images to save space for the rest of the DVD, but the still images will appear during playback where the warnings used to appear, so in my view this is not a good solution.

DvdReMake is not free, but worth it if you are "ReMaking" DVDs. Try the demo, its free.
Demo is functional except that it only exports a small portion of each chapter in movie for test purposes. I find DvdReMake the best tool for finding and get rid of unwanted stuff on a DVD.
Using other removal tools, its very time consuming to find a specific small clip with leading blank cells. With DRM you can scroll quickly across all the blocks in a VTS or (cells in a PGC) to visually locate the desired clip, then two mouse clicks and its gone. Its harder to describe than it is to do. Then Export it, shrink it and burn it.
DvdReMake V3 Pro demo is available here:

Welcome chrispaiva.
Sounds like we have similar goals when it comes to processing. I use the following process flow (skipping steps where not required on certain DVD's): DVDDecrypter - rip from disc, removing PUO & CSS PgcEdit - to trace DVD (invaluable), kill playback (warnings, extras etc), and edit menu's (removing links to extras, audio/subtitle streams I'll be blanking/stripping later) VobBlanker - to blank cells (warnings, certain extras etc), and convert motion to still menu's (can save major space on some DVD's) DVDShrink - to strip audio / subtitle streams & shrink down to fit DVD-5 if necessary PgcEdit - to ensure 32Kb gap between IFO/BUP, & create ISO using mkisofs (safer than DVDShrink in certain cases) DVDDecrypter - to burn ISOThis has given me the control/flexibility I want, and helped me learn heaps. Everyone around here is very helpful also. As sweetness says, check out 2COOL's guides, and also check out the guides on the PgcEdit & VobBlanker homepages (links in my sig). As always just try things out, and test prior to final burn.

Pretty similar here zacoz. Can I just warn you that to remove PUOs in VOBs where there are multi-angles can have adverse effects, these being a little camera icon will usually popup on the screen which essentially says choose an angle. Apparently, it is impossible to remove!
Be a bit careful of removing PUOs in VOBs OK?

Thanks for the warning. Haven't encountered it yet, but then I think I've actually only processed multi-angle DVD's where I've removed all but one angle.
