Pay someone to do it for you.
If you don't have the green, maybe you could try out the Search function. :search:

Process (My favorite softeware for the job)
Rip em (DVD Decrypter)
Mux Em (Vob Edit)
Re-encode em (TMPGEnc)
Author em (TMPGEnc DVD Author)
Burn em (Nero)
Slow process, Dont your DVD player and TV play both formats? Pretty much every unit sold here (Australia) in the last 5 years does.

You can get a cheapo DVD player at Wal*Mart ($49.99 CAN) that will play NTSC, PAL, VCD, SVCD etc etc which is certainly the EASIEST route to take.
Keep your receipt. Try it at home. It's certainly less time consuming!

The 'hands-on' way to convert PAL to NTSC is in this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=45459&perpage=20&highlight=PAL%20NTSC%20conversion&pagenumber=9).
However, one thing I would suggest is to use LeakKernelDeint rather than SmoothDeinterlacer both for speed and because LKD is compatible with DGIndex -- I could not get SD to work with it.
Good luck!
