I make DVD's with subtitels from avi's with DVD2SVCD program
with 16:6 avi's, it gives no problem
But with widescreen avi's i get a DVD in 16:9
So all my actors have made a weight loss cure in meanwile
You can not give-in a widescreen output in DVD2SVCD
you have the options 4:3 - 16:9 with borders (as 4:3) and 16:9 without borders
I use DVD2SVCD - be sweet ....; - CCEncoder 2.5
How do i pas this resizing?
Thanks in advance for your help ;)

For D2S version 1.2.2b3 for AVI's with:
4:3 - select "16:9(borders added, encode as 4:3"
16:9 - Select "Anamorphic(no borders, encode as 16:9)"
and they will come out with correct aspect ratio. There is a Sticky above by Nick also with a solution.

Thanks for the reply
I have tryed the Sticky solution by Nick, but with no result
The main problem is that in DVD2SVCD the Conversion tab the "aspect ratio" hase no output to choose for widescreen 2,4:1
you can take 4:3 - 16:9 with borders (as 4:3) and 16:9 without borders
But widescreen (cinema) is 2,4:1
I think he looks always to that aspect ratio, weterver you put in the Frameserver tab
PS: Thanks Chicken Man for your gide "How to convert your DivX/AVI to DVD±R
If your AVI has square pixels - ie the horizontal resolution is 2.4*vertical resolution, then just choose Anamorphic. Although the box says "no borders", they will be added correctly as the preview pane will show.
The preview pane never shows AR correctly so don't worry about that, but it will show that borders are being added.
If you are still unsure, make a 1 minute clip in VDubMod and convert that as a test run.
