Structure Protected Discs..Can they be done yet

Have'nt been on here for a while so i was wondering is there a way to do a full backup of those structure protected discs yet ?? you know the ones with 0 cells at the biginning.Layer Cake is on of them.

If you use the latest DVDDecryptor you shouldn't have a problem.

Yeah i have used the latest dvd decrypter to make a image.But i meant about recompiling, scenarist cant to the 0 frame cells right ?

no scenarist can't handle them

Scenaid has some checking in it now for those type of disks however, after importing the scripts, you need to doublecheck the dummy tracks it creates for those 0frame cells and chang ethe duration to 12sec (or 10 for pal) -

So all i do is rip the disc with dvd decrypter, the demux it by PGC like normal then , load in the script into scenarist then change the time on the dummys to 10secs... then compile, run ifoupdate and then it will play fine.

Do you mean 10 frames so it would be 00:00:00.10 or 10 secs as in 00:00:10.0.

The first 4 cells are 00:00:00.0 then the nest 5 are 00:00:00.12 and 00:00:00.08

although i have a vague notion of reading somewhere once ... (a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away) ... that it was prefferable to use 12 frames for pal > 00:00:00;12
... so i have always stuck with that... <shrugs>

So all the dummys that get put into scenarist change to 00:00:00.12 and then one of these discs are backed up..

I'll give it a shot in the nest day or so after i make some hdd room.

no not all the dummies.. only the ones that correspond to cells that are < 10/12
