Certainly.
Start with our Capture FAQ (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32575) and Capture Guide (www.doom9.org/capture/start.html). Then, hang out in the Capture forum (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=10).

I described where to go for analog capture (from RCA plugs, or from RF antennas). Eb has described an example of digital TV capture using DVB. For more on digital TV signals, see the HDTV / DVB / TiVo forum (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=64). And, for digital camcorders, see the DV forum (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=59).
Thanks jggimi,
. for explanation, now i see that is Divx thread, but Divx codecs can be used within ffdshow or seperatly (my belowed 4.12) for experiments with live tv capturing/recording to.avi and mp3.
