I record many tv shows off of digital cable through an s-video cable. I use Mpeg-2 (8mbit/sec CBR video, 128kbps CBR audio) I am using AutoGK to archive these shows.
I am using the latest beta and love the results. The only problem I am having is that it keeps re-running the first-pass and lowering the resolution. I am archiving to 300MB per second and besides changing the audio to CBR for use in VirtualDub to remove commercials, everything is at default.
What would be a good Min. Width to set so it will stop re-running the first-pass and still give decent quality?
