So you're saying that transcoding your audio can improve the quality? Because this is by no means true. Although you can filter out artifacts or unwanted frequencies transcoding will always degrade audio.

Thank you for replay, I am talking here about "improving" audio in general sense as my "organoleptic" feling/tasting.
Main reason is volume, then adding some surround te get sound to be more "wet", up a little a voice audio to better hear the dialogs, plus increasing bass tremble. no denoising.

EDIT and video stream is simply rewritten keeping synchro as before or audio can be delayed or move forward.
