View Full Version : Non standard (?) VOB from camcorder

Check this out:

first VOBU recorded using a camcorder that goes straight to DVD. I though the first pack after the nav pack HAD to be a video pack. This looks non standard to me. I'm guessing they're using the 2nd pack to store some data on the disc...

I see that alot in DVR files as padding - it's only unknown to VobEdit ;) It's mentioned in the video verifier manual (section 4.4.7) as "Provider defined stream".
As for video being the first after NAV, nothing was mentioned about this. Only that video be the first payload.

Amazing! All this time, I thought the second pack had to be video...
