Hmmm...use this thread to see if you really have it. Maybe you can post a capture of your message?

What's your DVD Decrypter version?

What "exactly" does the IfoEdit error message say?

Here's what you can do, capture a snapshot image of your message box (Alt-prntscreen). I believe you can paste your capture into Paintbrush. Go to Imageshack (http://www.imageshack.us/) and browse to your image file. Paste the forum link it generates in your next post.

I don't know why the attachment won't go thru, so i went to the link you sent http://img150.echo.cx/img150/5107/macrovision8im.th.jpg (http://img150.echo.cx/my.php?image=macrovision8im.jpg) The error message comes up when i hit play dvd when i open my viedo_ts. info

Not too large, and visible now. Seems I'm the only moderator left in here, and I hate bringing up the panel to preview and approve attachments - its server must be on an old 300bps dialup or something.

In regards to to your macrovision error, DVD Decrypter is supposed to have taken that out. I believe that setting is default. I asked for you to manually confirm in VobEdit (http://www.ifoedit.com) if you still have macrovision after ripping. If you did, something is wrong with Decrypter. To be honest with you, your error message is first time I've seen it as I have always had my macrovision taken out without problems.

Thanks,The file in question i have ripped and shrunk with shrink and i didn't even know it had the macrovision..I also tried the edit with other files on my h.d. with the same message. I'll try to uninstall and reinstall of my decrypter...

Open your VOB in VobEdit. Select a nav pack (the first pack in the first VOB is a nav pack, or any other without icon).
In the right pane, look at offset [0031]: If the Macrovision value is 0, then Macrovision has been removed.

Thanks for the help,The problem must be with Infoedit..I checked for macrovision protection and none of the movies were protected with macrovision..
