hey, ive had this problem for about a week now and im sure there is an easy answer, i just know very little about encoding my dvds....

im trying to backup my Star Wars DVDs (right now just episode 1), and im not getting any forced subs....

ive tried encoding each angle(there's 3) with each sub track with the foced subs both off, then everthing again with forced subs on...and ive done this twice (i though i might just have a bad rip from DVD decrypter). and i get squat...

ive enabeled the file naming of the pgc and angel numbers in dvd decrypter...what the heck am i not doing right?

using latest stable build (1.95)....

if you want me to post a log file youll have to specify which one (ie angel# sub track# and weather forced subs on or off)....ive got about 60 (yse ive encoded the same movie that many times) and i dont think that you want to read all of them.

i kinda had the same problem with kill bill, but i gave up. though i believe that the problems are the same....

any help would be great...thanks.

I don't suppose you can direct me to the thread where you found your answer huh? I'm having the exact same problem with the same movies.

Nice of him to let us know what he found out, eh RF? The answer is that they're not Forced Subs. They have their own sub stream, the alien talk. Uncheck Forced Subs, and go looking for which sub stream it is.
