Hi there!
I've made a backup of "The Incredibles" using AutoGK with spanish subs (Original from the DVD). Everything was fine unless the subs: They started very good, but then, after 2m movie, they disapeard and reapeard after 5m totally out of synch... somebody got a similar problem?
Greetings!

You should have used the preview :p
Are they srt or vobsub? This is curious. You could post the timestamps from the idx/srt, the first ones anyway, to see if it went wrong there.

Yes, good idea.
Anyway, I will try to do it again and see what happen. It could be something in the original subs, I noticed that in the beginning are double subs (up and down) to translate the forced subs and audio... I hope that didn't mess up VobSub in the ripping.

I think AutoGK/VobSub ripp always the subs as idx/sub... don't you think?
I'll try again and report.

I tried again and... same problem.
I noticed the problem: The is a wrong timing in the subs ripping made by VobSub. Now I have to edit the timings in the idx/sub file, I have to move up a big part of the subs... if somebody tell me how to do it, I've never managged idx/sub files :D

P.S.(Moderators): If you think this post is getting out of subject, may be is better to move it into the subtitles section. When I started it, I din't realize it was a VobSub problem.

Greetings! :)

Since it's a simple offset error, it's easy to fix.

-Open subresync and load your idx in it (you will have to do this manually for every language stream independently btw)

-select your language stream

-right-click on the first subtitle that needs synching, until you get a red triangle pointing downwards

-Highlight the "time" timestamp, like you want to rename it in explorer (click twice, get a blue box and a cursor)

-Enter the correct time for the subtitle

-Every subtitle below it will be moved up as required.(see this in "preview" column, not "time" column)

-If you mess up, you can use "reset time"

-Save your file :)

Yes, it probably did ;)

Way to go niamh!! :D
That did it! I would like to know whay VobSub had that problem, but solved anyway.

EDIT: Well, It got a little complicated, because the subtitle (ripped by VobSub under AutoGK) was completelly messed up. Finally, I ripp the subs using VobSub alone, and no problem at all, the timing was perfect...
So now I don't know what it this all about: VobSub worked perfectly alone but not under AutoGK... I would like to have an explanation of this.
Greetings! ;)
