Supposed using the same XviD source code, are there
any differences between Koepi,Nic,Celtic+others binaries?
E.g. aiming to performance for specific CPU or so.

Of course, there can use different sources...

Thank you, I use this interesting URL often. But at this time
It did not answer all my questions...

Output should be bit identical. That is for a given build such as 1.1.0beta2. Anything of mine marked cvs uses cvs code from the date specified (local time).

Anyone interested in new uptodate gcc builds?

I had in mind

same CVS + different compiler ->
-> maybe different Intel/AMD CPU performance preference

(I have Celeron 600 (MMX,ISSE,SSE). I was used to work
in ASM,C,Pascal for Z80/CP/M,
now it is out of my coding abilities, maybe once in future :p )

Isn't it possible for different machines to produce different output, even if the same build is used due to the differences between the optimized routines? For example the MMX quant routines can produce different output to the MMXEXT routines.
