I have a DVD, which did not have any subtitles in it. However I created the subtitles and now I want to use VobBlanker to replace the existing title with a new one, which has the subtitles authored in.
The problem is, when I replace the titleset with VobBlanker, the endproduct has no subtitles whatsoever. What gives? What am I missing here?

Hi Mr. Tarantino, try not to use BobBlanker for the time being and adapt my little experiment instead at:

LOL :p Is everyone drunk tonight?!
Okay, the problem is that BobBlanker doesn't copy the stream attributes from the newly authored titleset into the old DVD structure when you use BobBlanker's Replace PGC function. So after using BobBlanker you must load the disc in PgcEdit and rightclick on the PGC in question and select Domain Stream attributes. PgcEdit detects the new subtitle stream and asks you if it should correct it. Answer yes.
And remember to copy the subtitle colours, too... ;)

Sorry, didn't work. I still get subtitles, while testing it with powerdvd. Could you be a bit more specific? I got the dialog telling me to update the new subtitles, but still nothing happens.
I'm using VobBlanker 2.0.0.1 and PgcEdit 0.5.1

I recommend using the latest version of PgcEdit (v0.5.5), even though that's probably not it...
You mean you still don't get the subtitles in powerdvd, right? And you did answer yes to the domain stream check in PgcEdit? As you didn't have subtitles on your original DVD, you'll of course have to manually select the subtitles in the powerdvd "remote control". Do you see the new subtitle stream at all in powerdvd navigation?
If not try testing the disc with MPC instead: http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/
EDIT:
Just got a thought: In PgcEdit (after replacing the PGC with VobBlanker) you should correct the stream attributes as I described in my first post, and THEN double click the PGC from the main window to bring up the PGC editor. In the upper right corner, there's a overview of the subtitle streams. As you've added one new stream to a disc that had none, you'll have to click on stream no. 0, which is marked as "None" and select "Set" from the small window that pops up.
Now save the disc and test. And it should work!

Got it working. I fooled around with PgcEdit and got it working. Thanks for the great tip anyways, once again I learned something new.
Cheers to you mate! :)
