I have been using MMplayer www.mmplayer.com to play video on my Palm and in order to use landscape mode effectively I have had to prerotate the video (see previous posts). This is still a tool I would like to see added to AutoGK sometime however it may end up being obsolete anyway. Magnus (the developer of MMplayer) is looking at optimizing the program so it will be efficient enough for rotation and the program, which I love, is only $15 (USD). The other player is called The Core Pocket Media Player (TCPMP) http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/ and will play just about anything you can throw at it. It is very efficient but at the time of this writing the GUI isn't as pretty but I have heard rumors of future skinning plans. It is also FREEWARE. Heaven only knows how lenOx and others writing and improving these incredible programs do it. THANK YOU!!!

So all of this means that you now have another player option and you don't have to worry about ruining the first pass stats by adding the turnright() command between passes or do the video processing gymnastics required in my first post to rotate the video. Isn't life great thanks to these guys and everything they share with us.

Don't discount Magnus and his abilities though. He is working on MMplayer and I have strong feelings that the $15 you pay for it will be worth it.
