dvd-rb blanking option

Is there any way the encoding stats could be recalculated and displayed in the status log after blanking out content?

eg. These are stats for a project before I started tinkering with the segment editor.

- Reduction Level for DVD-5: 79.7%
- Overall Bitrate : 4,764Kbs
- Space for Video : 3,973,582KB
- HIGH/LOW/TYPICAL Bitrates: 6,000/3,696/4,764 Kbs

I managed to save 500mb of extras and it shows a new bitrate value for the main movie in the editor, but the status window isn't updated.

It would be helpful if there was an indication of whether you had saved enough to avoid the need for compression.

On the Editor window you got that info on the text box at the bottom.

I have done, and it's excellent. (Well done) :)

But while it does show the new bitrate in the editor window (which is helpful), the compression stats aren't updated in the status window.

Maybe I'm the only one who saves these for future reference?! If so, please ignore the suggestion.

I have the same impression... if it can be displaing correct it will be great. I know that most important is bitrate than percentage value, but percentag value can be very useful (IMO) :)
