Hi

i've a problem while using dvd-rb and cce.
My version is dvdrb 0.83, cce Cinema Craft Encoder SP v2.67.00.27 and i've tried also with
Cinema.Craft.Encoder.v2.70.02.00 and avisynth 2.5
I've a problem encoding Alien3 of the special box.
I've changed the dvdrb version yesterday because i had the same problem of this post
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=92770 and that problem was ok :)

Now i've another problem when dvdrb-cce finish to encoding the final dimension is about 5.4Gb
too large for a dvd5 support.And if i strip with ifo edit the english language the final
dimension is 4,43 GB (4.759.050.240 byte)
Can anyone help me?
The .ini file of dvdrb that i'm using is this

[Options]
SkinVersion=3
OneClick=1
AdditionalOutput=1
CCE=1
ReduceOpt=1
HalfD1=00
Convert_16_9=00
DisableInterlace=00
Completed=2
[CCEOptions]
VBR_bias=10
TargetSectors=2260000
Quality_prec=16
eclPasses=3
[Paths]
CCENEW=C:\Programmi\Cinema Craft Encoder SP v2.67.00.27\cctsp.exe
MPEG2DEC=C:\Programmi\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\Plugin.Avisynth\MPEG2Dec3dg.dll
Source=D:\ALIEN3PUREENG\
Working=D:\PROGETTO\
Output=D:\ALIEN3TERZAPROVA\
[Audio]
Selected=11

I have extracted the dvd using dvddecrypter, than ifoedit to remove extras and Menushrink to
reduce the menu size and finally dvdrb-cce but for two times the dimension is that :(

Can anyone help me?

And sorry for my english :P

Sorry. Too much preprocessing. I wouldn't know where to begin. Have you tried without preprocessing?

yes i've tried to encode the dvd without reduceing the menu and only stripping the languages with ifoedit and then encoding with cce but the result is the same :\

why not try it using dvdrbs own option to just have menu and main movie and let it blank everything out

or use clone dvd to strip all but movie (making sure to tick preserve menu) and then use dvdrb

you could also try the program here

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=92810

if you read the very last post it should give you and idear of the setting to use

i always use clonedvd to strip out what i dont want and then use dvd-rb

seeing as new dvd-rb has these options already in it on next movie i try i might give them a go

@jdobbs would you call using QmatOp - pre processing ? if so would you suggest using or not?

or would you leave that up to the individual to decide

yes..... only stripping the languages with ifoedit

Last time I checked, that is still preprocessing. Did you mean to answer No?

Why not let Rebuilder strip the languages?
