First of all-The new DivX fusion player shows whether the video you are playing is certified or not.Right click-File Information-Technical Details.
Now the confusion
I encoded a clip with DivX fusion codec-defaults-progressive PAL at 640x480-using Lame MP3 at 128 kbps both at 48000 Hz and 44100 Hz(different clips)
Loaded in fusion player-both not certified.
Remuxed to .divx format with fuse. Fusion player now shows certified.
How come?
I think DivX should put in one place information regarding how to make DivX certified videos.
