FYI, Recode 2.2.6.16 is available for download in Package 2 v3.1.0.0d.
It still has the avisynth 5.1 channel mapping bug.
A few small GUI bugs to do with back and forwards and adding avisynth sources have been fixed.
Dunno about the AC3 decode normalisation problem
Also, no new major features. VBR by Q is glaringly absent : (

Dunno, try it out. Grab a wav that has a speaker test "Left, Right, Left Surround, Right surround, Centre, LFE" and encode it. If all the channels are wrong, then yes it does! : )

No problems with 5.1 using BeSweet/BeLight and nero dll's here :)

so, this means another new useless release! god, i dunno why they are not updating encoder and fixing the audio problem, i mean, who wants mmv and mod file support! pretty wierd, as for such useless updates, they want us to download 30 mb + every time!

Yesterday I had 2 trials to set up an encode, the 3rd started this morning.
Somehow Recode still doesn't remember my encoder profile settings.
The first two times Recode showed incredible >80fps encoding speed for 1st pass with progress indication(%) missing, preview window showed only a black screen for 2nd pass this morning, so I restarted.
This time it is showing reliable values for 1st pass (~20fps) and progress in %.
Fed an AVS, which is intact.
I used the exact same settings in every encode, so it must be GUI related

time for some upgrades ;)
With matrix mixer you can assign 5.1 channels to be mixed in any variety or one by one during playback. This provides sutible testing for a 5.1 channel order test.
But a 5.1 sound setup would be much better :D :D

Anyone notice if you pause the encode and start an application that is cpu intensive that the encode will not resume again after unpausing? It just sits there and the encoding time left just increases forever.

Check the thread priority.
If you've set it to low, then this is by design. Increase it to normal.
