I love DVDDecrypter, and use it any time I have to rip a DVD for backup. However - it becomes really annoying if you're trying to encode a DVD that doesn't NEED to be ripped.
For example, DVDs that have no encryption on them, or DVD files that are already on a hard drive. I run into this frequently, and as it stands, just so that I can use AutoGK to encode, I have to do the following:
1) Bring the VOB/IFO files into Nero
2) Use the Image Writer to create an .NRG file
3) Mount the .NRG file as a drive in Nero ImageDrive
4) Rip the VOB/IFO files out of the ImageDrive using DVDDecrypter
This is such a HUGE time consumer that serves no purpose other than to write the "Stream Information.txt" file.
It's such basic info in the text file that I could practically write one by hand each time. Does anyone know a faster work-around? It takes an extra 30 to 60 minutes to perform all those extra un-needed steps.
