all my copies are main movie only( using shrink or recode2) for less or none compression= better quality. i have rebuilder pro which i'll start using soon; my question is; is there a way to back up main movie only with rebuilder? would creating a main movie-only iso file with decrypter be a way and wiil it work? can rebuilder be set up to main movie only? if so how? i'll not use rebuilder if it doesn't do main movie only.

thanks for any input.

I think that it is possible to creat a main movie-only iso file with decrypter this way: decrypter-file mode-main movie only, then creating a iso file with it using decrypter in iso mode. i don't use file mode because iso file is said to work better with rebuilder.

help; newbie at this rebuilder stuff. thanks

Simplest is to use DVD Shrink in Reauthor mode and set to No Compression. Then run that through ReBuilder. Has always worked for me. DVD Decrypter in FILE mode (or any resulting ISO) will not create a playable dvd that ReBuilder can process.

another option is to use rb's movie and menus only.
this has some pros & cons:
+ you can do everything in 1 tool
+/- you get the menu also (imho +, but someone might say -)
- you'll get some kilobytes of extras

You can use dvd decrypter as you described but you will also need to do a moc strip in infoedit.
