problem playing Real Media content

I'm trying to play a MKV file with Real Media 10 video muxed with OGG audio stream. The playback is very very very choppy, not smooth for even just 3 seconds. The sound and video quality is high, but it is not playing smooth at all. All other video and sound formats plays smooth.

I have Divx free, Xvid, Real Alternative, BSplayer, Matroska and OGM installed. No packs or other players.

Hmm.... Seems that a codec is missing according to VirtualDub.

Hmm.... After playing around with Direct VobSub seems that the choppyness is related to the subtitles and not to the video codec.

Weird... After installing DVS my MKV file stopped playing, just a black and green stuff with looping audio...

Seems that playing it on some french version of Media Player Classic solves the problem. Weird eh?

Remove real alternative and put realplayer with the helix xiph plugin!

I can't install it. I don't know if its incompatible with Win2003 but everytime I try to install it a pop up window shows up with nothing on it, just an "OK" button, pressing it terminates the install process and nothing is installed. Tried the sticky topic with no sucess.
