View Full Version : Hitting 'Esc' makes DGIndex quit now.

Hi.

In older versions of AGK, hitting 'Esc' made DGInex stop and release grip on the d2v. Now it stops on choosiong 'Pause' from the File menu, but control on the file is not relaxed. Hitting 'Esc' now makes it quit altogether.

This, of course, makes AGK more automatic and more intolerant of user interventions which are now channelled thru the hidden options screen.

Opinins and usage vary; I found the earlier ones more to my taste.

Regards.

I can only say one thing - it really helps to search the forum as usual and re-read the FAQ from time to time...

I send you back to your own post (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=92595), entitled "forum rules", because I simply can't resist.

Yes, indeed, one should search and read. That, of course, doesn't exclude me. I apologise if I have given any indication otherwise.

In my post I wasn't asking any question, though. I was soliloquizing the preference of one grateful and avid AGK fan and user.

I understand that minimizing user-intervention is a core philosophy behind AGK but humans, unable to let well alone, will always want to tinker...

nuron2:

AGK's latest stable release and later beta candidates (2.02) use DGIndex 1.2.1 that started from AGK v1.93b. Perhaps len0x will use the 1.3.0b4 or later in a future release.

Regards.
