Thank you Donald for this great program. Knowing what I know now about hybrid material, DGFix is a god send. I'm working with some DVB rips and the TFF/RFF/Progressive flags can get a little crazy, especially when you throw some telecined footage into the mix.

I'm trying to do as little re-encoding as possible, so I was wondering if there's a program that can read or some how utilize DGFix to actually change the flags in the MPEG picture coding extension. I can fix it manually, but I’ve got one section that’s in really bad shape and I don’t want to go cross eyed hunting through binary digits.

Thanks

I'm not aware of any program that can apply DGFix-like corrections back to the source file. It's a worthy idea but I don't see myself having time for that any time soon. The source for DGPulldown would be handy if you decided to do it yourself; all the parsing and file writing code you would need is there.

Maybe hexadecimal would be easier. :)
