I have this old 14" Sony tv which doesn't have SCART or other audio/video inputs. It only has the antenna coaxial input.

Is there any way I can connect a dvdplayer to this and watch dvd?

Yes there is idigvb :)

You need to use a device called a "Universal RF Modulator" (well that's what we call them in the UK).

These devices allow you to input, composite video and audio signals and convert/modulate them to an RF (VHF and/or UHF) output. The more flexible devices allow you to adjust the output of the RF frequency.

They come in all shapes, sizes, colours, build qualities and prices!

Here's what an expensive one looks like: -

But you never know, you might already have one that you are using with another device... like a games console.

Also, if you have a video recorder (VCR) that's connected to your 14" Sony TV, you might be able to connect your DVD player to the video recorders "scart input" (if it has one) and use the VCR as an RF modulator ;)

Here in the US it's called an RF Modulator and available in department stores and online. I bought one at Walmart a few months ago for about $25.
