Hello,

After ripping a DVD of mine, I noticed that if I tried
to play back the VOBs using Intermedia's player,
the language spoken was the wrong one -- not my
native tongue.

I am wondering if perhaps it is possible to convert
VOB to Mpeg2, i.e. strip the VOB of unwanted audio,
selecting the specific language to use, rather than
having to keep the entire DVD contents in order to
play it back.

I expected there would be an answer in the FAQ list for
this question but I didn't find one

Thank you.

DVDFab, which seems to be the best tool for my goal of creating MPEG2, is giving me an error when I click on Process. It says there is a read error 0000 1001.

I ran vStrip and got an m2v file but it wasn't clear how to extract the audio.

Someone should create a data flow diagram (DFD) to show the precise steps for getting data from start to finish. Heck, I would do this for people if I knew how to do the conversion.
