These APSI drivers has been verified to work in Windows XP. It'll fix various problems with cd burners and ripper programs:

I verify. The regular force aspi drivers didn't do it for me on a fresh install of XP. DVD2SVCD came to my rescue with these.

I'm using VCDeasy and it couldn't detect ASPI drivers. I'm using windows ME on Sony Vaio Desktop. How can I fix this problem? The CDRDAO checks for the aspi driver and then hangs.....any solution?

There are about 6 or 7 drivers to try in VCDeasy. Look for a drop down that says force driver next to it under the settings tab in the cdrao section. I have to use generic-mmc for it to work with my burner. Try them all.
