I just hava a question. I have a CX2388X and also SAA7134 based cards
and I mostly use S-VIDEO to capture. I was wondering if the comb filters get turned off automatically by the card or is this supposed to be done in the capture software ? I use Virtual VCR and I don't see any such setting.

Also a question about dot-crawl. IS this something that I have to worry with composite sources or is this happening with S-Video too ?

TIA

I believe that the Conexant chip will automatically disable the comb filters when svid is selected, as the two components are already separated, it would be a useless thing to have on.
