Hello,
I have used DV Type 1 & 2 codec to Transfer via Firewire then encode to MPEG2 by CCE. AVIcodec tool shows DV codec as SONY
I used Avisynth script. Used "DirectShowSource" then "IsYUY2(clip)" function returns true.
On histogram, I see range of 0-255.
Does this mean ORIGINAL captured AVI is YUY2 0-255 ? OR MS codec (qdv.dll) has converted it while decoding ?
If this is correct Do i need to get video to 16-255 for CCE ? HOW ?
What tool can I use to find out AVI properties (RGB/YUY2, 0-255/16-235, interlace etc)?
What CCE settings for this ?
DE-SELECT/SELECT ? Try decoding AVI in YUY2 format
DE-SELECT/SELECT ? Try decoding AVI in 32-bit RGB format
Luminance Level=0-255 / 16-235 ?
