Hi,

I'm getting an error after following the Doom9 tutorial for DVDx with TMPEGenc. I get the video server plugin working fine and I can get TMPEG to encode the mpeg. After which wav2mp.exe treis to start where I get a dos screen as if I'd typed "wav2mp.exe /?" from the DOS prompt. Also when bbMpeg starts I get this error.

File C:\IPCSERVER.MPV is not a 11172-2 or 13818-2 Video stream.

After which I end up with an mpeg with no audio and a wave file which contains the sound. When I listen to the wav it plays fine but there are strange clicks constantly the whole way through.

Any ideas about any of this?

Thanks,

D

...only that I've seen it before when muxing TmpgEnc streams in bbmpeg. I ended up having to reencode the whole damn thing minus the first five frames.

I concluded that it had something to do with the fact that the (home) movie avi started out with an artificial massive black (no noise whatsoever) only to make a fade-in to the first scene. Appearantly when I used CCE with the exact same material bbmpeg didn't have a problem at all, so I guess it's Tsunami-specific. I tried both version j and 2.0.

Cheers

...thanks for the reply. It can't be what you suggest because I get this error when doing the whole movie or just a minute from the middle of the movie somewhere.

Thanks anyway...

to bad. Then I suggest you try CCE to reproduce the error if possible

I think i ve got the same problem as you:
i m using tmpg to compress the video for dvdx1.7 and
when the video of the first cd has been compressed i got an error telling me that the wav file cant be found however the wav is compressed but the frameserving server is stopped (i m warned by a popup window) and so tmpg cant resume the encoding of the second part...
any known issues about it or it s just a matter of configuration though i think i ve followed doom guide quite closely?
