strange blocking problem

This shot:

is taken from a "pure" DV captured file (pure means that it has been jus captured, not processed).
You can notice in the left border of the picture some strange irregular blocks, they seems to "dance" while playing the movie.
These blocks appear also in my camcoder's LCD monitor, so it seems to be a problem related to my MiniDV tape (TDK).
Any ideas?

Looks like the tape is used too many times.
Anyway, yoy can watch the the tape from camcorder on tv and if it's there, it's there and you should change the tape next time you are going to capture something..

...or maybe the tape is not good (it was its first time!)
