Simply amazing sync problems, yes.

I simply copied the .vob on my DVD to my hard drive (not copy protected, obviously). I opened it up in VDubMOD. The audio was out of sync completely. Not just skewed, but horridly wrong. In some places, it plays well and matches the movie. In some places, it plays so late that I think it's more than a minute off. In some places it playes early.

When played with graphEdit (or any other dvd player software) it works perfectly. But, after it is re-encoded with ffdshow/xvid, it becomes out of sync again.

How on earth do you fix this?

dont use VDubMod/MPEG2 but DGIndex + AVIsynth

VDubMod/MPEG2 doesnt handle rff/tff very well
