Can i Use directvobsub filter with a dvd movie?

Hi folks ;)
I was reading all the threads but i can solve my problem.

I have a DVD movie in mi HD (4.3GB) but the movie doesn't have subtitles.

I have a subtitle in X format (I download this subtitle for a website for a divx movies ... but this doesnt matters).

Is there a easy way to put my subtitle with my dvd movie?
i think that use a directshow filter is a fast way... but...in my lastest Media Player Classic i cant achieve these effect.. so what can i do.. or who is the way to do that in Media Player Classic with this kind of filters... what do you recomend me... i read the guides posted here... but is huge work for me :(.... i like the ideo of directshow :P

thanks ... but it's hard to get it work... when plays dvd's the video looks like .... ;) too pixelated... i dunno..

furthermore . i can't put the subtitles... :P i will do a full review later... a second chance to this soft... :)

I just read somewhere else that dvdsubberII (the latest version) is rather buggy, with the poster rather recommending older versions ...
I am not a regular dvdsubber user, so I am just passing this one on ...
