hi, not sure if this is the right place to post this but it seems the most appropriate out of them all.

I have a DivX file that has the audio encoded in DTS. What i want to do is convert this to a mpeg2 DVD compatible file with the DTS audio intact. I would also like to convert from DTS to DolbyDigital5.1 so i can include both audio tracks on the disc.

I have ac3filter installed and so far i have tried DVD2SVCD and DivxtoDVD but neither worked complaining about incompatible audio file even though i can play the movie back alright using powerDVD and Windows media player.

I also have Canopus ProCoder2 which i use for encoding, although i've only ever used it with DVD-Rebuilder.

Please please help me if you think you have any useful advice for me.
thanks Alex.

You can use virtualdub to make a silent avi and encode it to mpeg2. You can use avimux_gui to de-mux the audio. The audio will already work in most dvd players. add the two to your favorite authoring program.
