I am aware that DVD-RB doesn't work in certain languages (I think it is limited to Asian languages)... Frankly I've never written support for those languages before -- so I'm not even sure how to fix it. Suggestions are welcome.

I don't know. Try it and see.

You do know that I'm talking about the language of text in the software, not the languages on DVDs, right?

I have tried to back-up Criterion Monterey Pop Festival disk 3. After it finishes the encoding and now tries to do its magical stuff I get Error 6 within a few seconds but that has been with RB version 0.67. Didn't have the time nor the HD space to do another RB job but I am enticed to try again.

I have resigned to the fact that perhaps this is a unique disk and since I have s double layer burner try to burn it to DL as soon as printable versions become available.

I noticed you searched the forums for this Error 6 and I have tried all the suggestions but with this disk it just doesn't seem possible. The disk size is 7.6 Gig, quite big after stripping some of the sound tracks it gets down to below 7 and I want all of it.

Search the forum for messages posted by F@Chance and you will find the threads that discussed the problem

Version 0.67? Why wouldn't you upgrade?

Note my reply to the guy that had problems with backing up the Terminal DVD I have no complains regarding RB. However I am busy doing Season 4 of 24, Alias, Enterprise and Season 1 of Lost from High Resolution HDTV caps to DVD and it has eaten into my HD space. The Monterey Pop Festival Disk 3 needs at least 17 Gig of free space which I don't have at the moment. 8 gig to rip, 4.3 gig for the encoded files and 4.3 Gig for the rebuild DVD. However I am very tempted to try it again as soon as I get the space because I realize you made a lot of advances in the proggie.
