Hi!

I have a suggestion that might very useful especially for the 3-click people: after the "prepare" step, "encode" can be clicked, "rebuild" stays greyed out. What about changing the inactive "rebuild" into "encode + rebuild"?

If he hits "encode", the button may change back to "rebuild".

This change would be very handy, since it's of no use to come back and hit "rebuild" just to wait another 20 minutes. However this would stay possible although I've no idea what the sense for this could be (maybe for the encoding farm project).

Cheers, NaN

yes a good idea but this feature request has already been discussed here:

jdobbs is planning on adding this functionality at some point in the future :)

Thanks for the link! I remember that thread now, but I think my suggestion would be extremely easy to implement (about 1 minute, VisualStudio starting included or 30s if you're advanced) and really intuitive.

Checkboxes to link buttons or just 2 buttons with 1 checkbox is unnecessarily complex IMHO. You've got to make it easy or the forum will get swamped with questions about how to get things working.

I think "encode" and "encode+rebuild" (in addition to the already existing "prepare" button) would be the easiest solution for everybody who wants to change the ecl. As I said I don't see any real use of a 3rd button anyway.

Hey 30 seconds for that and another 30s for a "create new folder" button in the directory dialog.

Jdobbs! These are the 2 easiest changes ever to make people happy!
