Hi all,

Hope you can help (newbie). I have been using winavi-dvd, burning with nero, using dvd- disks. Just getting to grips with everything, can convert avi to dvd then burn, but....... on computer playback is fine, on my dvd player (cheap but plays everything or so i thought)there are lines of black blocks flashing intermittently, looks corrupt.

Any ideas?

Thankyou

Jay

Welcome to the forum:

This is usually a media compatibility issue. Check your player and burner using these links.

Thankyou for replying, checked the links out seems ok in everything other than disks im using (cheap and cheerful), used DVD Santa to burn and all ok other than it would play ok, then half way through would pause start pause start for about 10 mins.

Not giving up yet though :)

Thanks

Jay

again, most likely your problem will go away if you use quality (more expensive) brand media... in addition you might want to try lowering your burn speeds...
