I have a serious problem with Scenarist 2.7 and its driving me nuts.
I searched, google, this forum, and found ... no answer

My operating system at the moment is Windows XP Pro SP2,
Whenever i try it import from script, it 'crashes' and just sits in my task manager for hours on end.

When i had my P4 machine it worked fine. As soon as i upgraded to an AMD 64 thats when all my probs started. I now have 2 machines, and AMD64 Socket 754 3000+ and an AMD64 Socket 939 3500+.

It HANGS on both machines. Im thinking it MUST be a prob with the 64 Bit chip? Has ANYONE else had this problem? Pls Help

if i remember correctly scenarist can't work with the nforce ide/raid driver.. you got nforce chip based motherboards?

I don't have a solution, but I remember the same problem on my Athlon XP computer. Now since I've had Athlons since 2001 and I distinctively recall Scenarist working before on my boxes, even the NForce2 based box, I'd rule out the chipset but I'm afraid I cannot offer a solution to you either.

it's not the nforce chipset that's causing the problems but the nforce ide driver
if you just don't install it scenarist will run fine..

Yes i have the Gigabyte K8NSXP-939 NForce3 Ultra motherboard. Is it the IDE or SATA drivers that i need to uninstall? I have not got the Raid drivers installed.
