I get bad project file when 'indexed' VOBs from DVD with stupid video type. Actually error appeared only with DGIndex 1.2x, with 1.0x project file was OK.
DVD is NTSC anamorphic but it has video with 3:2 pulldown performed.
Origin is progressive FILM. DGIndex reports NTSC, what is of course OK, because it has really 29.97 fps. Result of this weird combination is awful playback on standalones, because of vertical stretching of interlaced frames.
Maybe it plays well on 16:9 TV (when set player for it)...
With Decomb filter is possible to reconstruct progressive video.

I don't know is it worth to consider this problem, because video is false in fact, but DVD2AVI and earlier vers. of GDIndex produced useful project file with it.

Please state what the problem is. Load the D2V in VirtualDub and step through. Then tell me what you think is wrong. For example, what do you see that is different from how earlier versions perform. You can put a clip on my FTP site as well for best support. Your report is too nebulous to act on as it is.

Sorry for this. It looks that problem is caused by 'nebulous' updater of Gordian Knot.
Virtual Dub reads not D2V files. Maybe with VFAPI plugin, but I will not install it when I have AVISynth.
I just thought that it has maybe some connection with FF bug.

I think that you should using different file extension for DGIndex projects, instead of D2V - it would addit. avoid some confusions.
It's probably too late now.
Anyway, I thank you for your effort and making useful software.

len0x has been tracking the D2V changes, so if you get the right version of GK, you should be OK.

I downloaded it from sourceforge.
As I see, they now removed lot of older versions there...
