Hi, I have been unable to find the solution to this problem and have not seen anyone else post a similar problem: I download a DVDRip of a movie in either of 2 formats: .iso or .vob (&.ifo&.bup). When I view the movie on my pc, it works fine like any dvd should - with menus etc. When I try to watch on my standalone it says that it cannot play this type of disk. Now I have burned xvids and such and copied my own dvds using dvdshrink and burning with nero (for .vob) and Alcohol 100% for .iso, so I know that I can do some basic stuff, but the above is driving me a bit crazy. I can mount the .iso file using daemon tools and it looks fine, or open the .vob etc using dvdshrink and it looks fine but it still won't work on my standalone. As well, when I open the dvd that does not work on my standalone using dvddecrypter, it says that it is non-regional, so it SHOULD play... Any help would be appreciated. As a follow-up question (if there is no pre-burning solution to the above, once I have my disk that is unable to work in my standalone - how can i convert it into a format that IS usable on my standalone [Panasonic DVD-RV31]). Using DVD-R that does work in the stanalone.

TIA,

Agrivar
