What's up with the jagged edges in the above screenshot? I've noticed that they only occur along horizontal lines and only for certain colors. For example, in the above screenshot you can see it's really bad along the red/green edges, but not along green/white edges or red/white edges.

I've tried eliminating or at least diminishing these jaggies using DeDot, GuavaComb, and even the Dotcrawl Decomb Vdub plugin, but none of them help much at all.

Here are some short HuffYUV clips (after IVTC) so you can see how the jaggies march along from frame to frame:

Sample 1 (http://www.netdepot.org/personal/jaggies1.avi)
Sample 2 (http://www.netdepot.org/personal/jaggies2.avi)

Any ideas?

yeah, it's dotcrawl (judging from the picture, didn't download the clips). So your filter choices were the right ones. If you can't get them to work, you could try using sangnom. Resize the picture at least 2x, apply sangnom and resize back. Brute force, but working pretty good. Your source has no details that could get lost to begin with anyway.

Actually, I've found that blur(1,0).blur(1,0) works surprisingly well...for this particular kind of jaggyness, at least.
