Hi,
I am relatively new to DVD-authouring and have a problem which is driving me nuts.
My girlfriend has recorded a lot of Charmed episodes which are using far to much harddrive space so I want to burn them on dvds. The problem is whenever I burn them onto a dvd using MovieFactory2 I can only fit 2 episodes onto 1 dvd, which would result in a lot of dvds (and - as it takes about 5-6h per dvd - a hell of a long time my Pc is going to be blocked).
I have seen people post Charmed dvds with about 5-6 episodes per dvd, so that would be a good solution but - alas - I have not found a way to encode the movies so that a normal DVD player can read them (yes, that work with the one someone posted). I also have tried finding a hint using this forum's search but that did not lead to anything either.
Can anyone help me with this?
Any help is appreciated!
greetings

Encode them to dvd specs manually and author a full dvd from scratch using a more capable less 'friendly' authoring program. Friendly authoring programs that are nice enough to re-encode video for you are #1 generally designed with a 2 hour per dvd time frame in mind, and #2 tend to over compress the video compared to the resulting quality. Check the guides on the main site for proper procedures and software.
