Hey everyone,

DivxToDVD is great free program that allows you to convert an Xvid so it can be burned onto a DVD. The program requires no more than a couple of clicks.

I have been very satisfied. If ever you find the need, check it out, may save you a headache.

Pretty sure that it is free. Although I guess they could charge if they want even though it does use libavcodec/format.

Nope, not free :(

It says the free version is a trial version on the download page but most people here probably do what it can by hand or have their own gui to do it.

I use a little program of mine to do the same sort of thing one click avi to dvd / dvd to avi conversion using a scripting language called FBSL.

Saves lots of messing about with command lines and my wife can use it too ;)

(That was a bit sexist, didn`t mean it quite like that - just my wife is not very good with computers!)

VSO's DivxtoDVD is totally free, there is no trial version etc.

It is freeware----otherwise I don't know if I would have mentioned a tool that is great to use that cost money (for those that cost are far to many to list).

Have a great day!

If it is free I apologise but on the page giving more details it says "Download a trial. A trial version is available for free. Test it, it is a completely different experience to enjoy your pictures backup."

These trial versions works the same than registered versions. Please try BEFORE buying. The trial versions are limited in time or number of uses. To update a registered version, overwrite your version with the latest trial and your license will be retained. Please keep preciously the version you bought.

Ok, since this seems to be advertising for some dubious software for even more dubious aims I'll close this thread.
