Hmm. What is the problem with multi PGC? Are you sure the 3 tools you mentioned were all you really used? Could you describe the procedure or point to the guide that you followed?

hi lordyu,

I create my subs with subtitlecreator and mux them together with ifoedit
i replace the old vobs with the new one and then i run the ifo's through ifoupdate. So far i could enjoy my new movie with new subs and menu and other extra.

But when the main ifo has multi pgc then the menu goes weird.
The reason for this is that the old pgc are not updated.
One example is 'bruce almighty'. The menu makes part of the main movie.

How to get this right ?

Rip the movie only with dvddecrypter or shrink, demux, remux, delete old vobs, replace. It should work

When you rip a movie ony , then you have a movie only !!
Your new movie with new subs will start from 01_1 to 01_5.
When you replace the old vobs with the new one then you ll lose the old menu
because the old menu was part of the 01_1 !!

A menu found in a 01_1 is very rare but i 'm dealing with one right now.

hi lordyu

i convert my srt to sup with subtitlecreator.
Then i mux the sup and m2v and ac3 with ifoedit to get new vobs and ifo's.

This process works very good but has only one problem, the menu get lost :(

This is what I have been trying to ask since the very beginning. Where did you get the m2v and ac3 from and how?

sorry lordyu,

forgot to mention that i demultiplex my movie with smartripper to get the elementary streams.

Maybe i should use vobedit ? This could save the menu ?

Please try PgcDemux (http://www.posunplugged.com/jsoto/dvdtools.htm) first.
