Actually, i am new to xvid encoding, earlier i used autogk, now i am trying with vdub or gknot! I Followed doom9 guide fully, just one thing i did by myself, i enable chroma optimization , and i went to bed, when i woke up, i got a 0kb file, meaning nothing got encoded, i had seen it was showing for 1st pass 1.5 hrs. were left, what seems be to the problem? i am using latest builds of vdub/gknot/xvid!

The thread title already starts off misleading. This has nothing to do with chroma optimizer (?!?!).
If you don't spit out the first pass file, it'll be not really 0 byte, but maybe around 3 to 5 MB sepending on the movie length.
First I thought, I'll slap you with this: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24924 - but this isn't appropiate either as you didn't take the time to read the FAQ and the guides. Maybe you just simply missed the point that there is a switch called "Discard first pass" right when you hit the button next to the combobox "2pass - Pass 1".
It's no problem to have a non-working file after the first pass. If your problem stays the same after (AFTER!) the 2nd pass, report back.
Cheers
