Hi jdobbs!
I thought especially for batch mode users (who don't want to tweak the ecls with other tools) this option would be of great benefit. Since most people aren't interested in the contents anyway, they're just wasting disk space, aren't they?
Interestingly it's also possible to specify in every project the same working dir, but the rebuilder needs user intervention to delete the contents ("all contents will be erased. Cancel OK").
