Hello all I have been reading this forum for quite some time now. I have always been able to find answers to all of my questions expcept for this problem I have been having
I have many different vob files ripped from various dvds using smart ripper. What I want to do is simply take those various vobs and burn them onto a dvd using nero and having each vob that i burn, be a new chapter on the burned dvd. I have tried using vobedit to merge vobs(renaming the files VTS_01_001 and so on)then use ifo edit to create a new ifo and bup file. it seems to work but when i burn to dvd-rw and play in settop player either all of the files dont play or they play fast or dvd stops. dont know if i am doing the right thing or not. Maybe i am missing some kind of settings for the programs or maybe not doing the right thing alltogether I'll let u experts decide. also If I have to reencode (I Hope I dont)tell me if i am wrong on this one: If I reencode using mpeg format wont I be able to dictate the file sizes getting encoded onto the dvd, as opposed to avi format that inflates in size, no matter what bit rate it was encoded at. Sorry for being longwinded THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
